Room and Rates

The English House Traditional Tea Room and Inn offers 4 fine rooms from which to choose. Each room is themed after a particular place in England where the proprietor used to live and travel. Advance reservations for all room rentals are suggested. The customer has the right to cancel up to 7 days in advance to their date of stay. If the customer cancels a reservation within the 7 day time period prior to their stay they will be charged for the room rates for the nights booked.

The Surrey Tea Room is host to breakfast as well as tea parties, Christmas parties, and social functions. Advance reservations for the tea room are required and a minimum number of six guests is requested. (For more information, see Surrey Tea Room).

The Durham Room

Named after the beautiful and historic university town of Durham in the Northeast of England, this room lives up to its sophisticated reference. The elegant hardwood sleigh bed draws you into a restful old world era that is both calming and intellectual. The room includes pictures of English foxhunts and a massive wing backed chair perfect for reading and daydreaming of walking down the old cobblestone streets of Durham to its world-famous cathedral. If sophistication is what you are seeking, this room is a perfect match. The tiled bathroom is a perfect getaway oasis with a shower-bath for soaking or a hot shower depending on your mood. A gourmet candlelight breakfast served in the Surrey Tea Room is included with the room price.

The Whitby Inn Room

This relaxing room is inspired by the calming feeling and cozy charm of the small seaside village of Whitby Inn in Northeast England. You can almost see yourself on the quaint stone streets near the seaside with the brisk wind and sea spray lapping your arms. The room charms with its crisp whites and blue walls reminiscent of a weekend in a seaside cottage. The only bedroom to face the front gardens, this room contains two queen wrought iron sleigh beds perfect for a restful sleep. If peace and tranquility are what you are looking for, this room is a perfect match. The bathroom includes a fully tiled, luxurious shower. The Royal Suite

This room, the largest bedroom in the house, is fit for the finest King or Queen. Historic hues of rose and merlots wrap you in warmth and elegance. A massive four poster bed, chandelier, remote electric fireplace, and full sized couch give this room the regal touch that it deserves. If grace and elegance are what you are seeking, this room is a perfect match. The maid’s quarters have been transformed into the luxurious master bathroom that features gorgeous tile and a two person whirlpool tub. Pamper yourself and soak the cares of the day away in style.
